Cycling & hiking

The natural beauty of the Jizera Mountains encourages active holidays and relaxation. The main landmark is the lookout tower Černá Studnice, less than 1.5 km away. Another option can be hiking around other nearby lookouts Bramberk, Slovanka or Královka. You can end the whole trip at the architectural gem of the Liberec Region, Ještěd.

Mushroom picking

The beautiful forests in the vicinity are a paradise for mycology enthusiasts.

Swimming

You can have a swim in the nearby Jablonec reservoir (Mšeno). It is a unique dam in the middle of the town, which invites you to swim and relax in the summer months. On rainy days, you can visit the Jablonec swimming pool with a wild river and water slides.

Natural toboggan run

The natural toboggan run is undoubtedly a unique place. Almost four kilometres of adrenaline await you when riding a sled from the Černá Studnice lookout to the ski lift Filip in Smržovka. Parking is provided in the central parking lot in the Filip ski area. From this point you can go on foot, which is about a 4-kilometer walk uphill, or you can order a pickup.

Skiing

If you are a fan of downhill skiing, snowboarding or narrow cross-country skiing, we have several tips for you in the close surroundings. You can try the slopes in Smržovka - Filip, Tanvaldský Špičák or Ještěd Ski Resort. The cross-country trails start right above our glamp, or you can go to nearby Bedřichov and try out the ski tracks of the legendary Jizerská 50. Another tip is the well-known settlement of Jizerka, where, in addition to skiing, you can also admire the „hairy“ cows of the Scottish Highland breed.
